2023: XI Annual Conference on Global Economy “Re-balancing of the world economy: in search of new models for global development” 29–30 November 2023

2024: XII Annual Conference on the Global Economy “Challenges of catch - up: Emerging countries in the global economy” 04–06 December 2024
Conference discussion questions: inequality between countries, growth strategies for the economic catch-up, the expansion of BRICS and its consequences and the future of Sustainable Development Goals. As a part of the Conference on 6 December, two sessions of the Conference’s Youth Day were held with speakers from China, India, Armenia and Russia.

2025: XIII Annual Conference on the World Economy “BRICS and the rethinking of the global economic order” 03–05 December 2025
Conference discussion questions::
• a joint response from the BRICS countries in the face of imposed trade barriers
• a way to overcome the era of trade wars amid geopolitical turbulence and the crisis of the World Trade Organization
• alternatives to the dollar as a reserve asset and payment instrument
• Sustainable Development Goals beyond 2030 and their feasibility
Representatives of universities and research centers from Russia, China, Turkey, Brazil, South Africa, Cuba, Morocco, Uzbekistan and Armenia are invited to participate.
On 5 December, as part of the Conference`s Youth Day, 2 sessions for young scientists will be held on the same subject, the selection of papers will take place on a competitive basis. All information will be available on the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs website.
