2024: XII Annual Conference on the Global Economy 'Challenges of Catch-Up: Emerging Countries in the Global Economy' December 04–06, 2024
Topics of discussion included inequality between countries, growth strategies for economic catch-up, the expansion of BRICS and its consequences, and the future of Sustainable Development Goals. As part of the programme, two sessions of the conference’s Youth Day were held on on December 6 with speakers from China, India, Armenia, and Russia.

2025: XIII Annual Conference on the World Economy 'BRICS and the Rethinking of the Global Economic Order' December 03–05, 2025
Discussion topics included:
• a joint response from the BRICS countries in the face of imposed trade barriers
• a way to overcome the era of trade wars amid geopolitical turbulence and the crisis of the World Trade Organization
• alternatives to the dollar as a reserve asset and payment instrument
• Sustainable Development Goals beyond 2030 and their feasibility
Participants included representatives of universities and research centres in Russia, China, Turkey, Brazil, South Africa, Cuba, Morocco, Uzbekistan, and Armenia. On December 5, as part of the conference's Youth Day, two sessions for young scientists took place.
